Blackburn Ridge
A private, all-inclusive rural escape on a working farm in Hawke’s Bay — a mix of slowing down and getting out and about, at your own pace.Start with a farm walk through varied hill country, redwoods and native bush, with wide views across Central Hawke’s Bay to the Ruahine Ranges.
On the following days, switch to e-bikes and ride quiet back roads, passing farmland, historic spots and small local villages. Each day finishes back at the homestead — hot tub ready, meals sorted, and nothing else to think about.
What's included
- Meals for your entire stay. Main meals are created by local chef Kate de Latour, featuring beautifully prepared, restaurant-quality dishes ready to heat and enjoy at the homestead.
- Boutique accommodation (linen, towels, pillows provided)

Your Stay
ARRIVAL DAY (this is day to select on the calendar when you book)- Arrive after 4pm
- Chef Kate's restaurant quality dishes are ready to heat and enjoy at the homestead.
- Mickey or Clem will pop up around 6pm for a meet and greet

- E-Bike - 50km return Tikokino Country Pub Ride 3-4hr return &/or 40km Onga Onga Historic Loop 2-3hr return. E-Bikes and safety equipment all inclusive. Allow extra time for checking out the pub &/or spending time at the Onga museum (guests have complimentary access).

Booking Information
The date you select on the calendar is your arrival date to Blackburn Ridge Homestead
There is no need to select the second or third night, just select the first night.
Groups of 4 to 7 : $900 per person
Groups of 8 to 10 : $800 per person
- The booking name can be transferred at no cost.
- It is not essential to have all of your group members details when booking, we will collect these on arrival.
- Minimum 4 people, maximum 10 people, please enquire for up to 14. If numbers change, no problem, we will update your booking provided its within a week of arrival to give our chef notice.

E-Bikes
All bikes come with a helmet, a comfortable bike seat, a bell & water-bottle holder. The group will have a flat tyre kit available for use which includes 2 x tubes, levers and pump. We have 10x Specialized Turbo Tero 3.0 Step Through E-Bikes available to use:

Local wine & beer
The homestead is stocked with a selection of local wine and craft beer for your enjoyment. The group leader's credit card details will be stored for any purchases.

Deposit
$250 per person
Balance payment is due 60 days prior to arrival date.
To secure any booking we require a deposit to be paid in advance.

Cancellation policy
- 60 days or more notice - full refund
- 60 – 30 days’ notice - your deposit of $250 per person will not be refunded
- 0 – 30 days’ notice - no refund will be given
